Received A Cortisone Shot In Bursa On Right Shoulder Last

Received a cortisone shot in bursa on right shoulder last year to help with pain. 9 months later worse than before. Swollen neck muscle and severe pain in neck and shoulder. Arm is weak and I swear its colder than the other. Painful tingles in hand and parts of arm. See doctor Monday but I think he will just give shot again and send me on my way. Will be 3 years next month and it just keeps getting worse. Can't take much more. What could I be dealing with? How can I get relief tonight?
