Recently I Experienced What I Think Was Seizure That Was

Recently I experienced what I think was seizure that was like an out body paralyzing experience. I felt a tingling feeling over my body, like electricity especially around my head on my left side it was intense . This has happened when I was trying to fall asleep lying my left side. I have had three episodes, two this week, all the same way. I contacted my neurologist waiting for a call scared to go to sleep. Any info would be appreciated.
