Recently I Have Been Having Some Odd Digestion Problems. This

Recently I have been having some odd digestion problems. This morning I woke up with mild heartburn that has come and gone throughout the day. Then came some smelly belches which have been sporadic through the day. I also had diarrhea this morning, and just recently. The most recent occurrence included whole bits of food, like lettuce. I'm really concerned with what's going on and what actions should be taken.
