Recently Had A Ct Scan Of Hand And Wrist. Bad

Recently had a ct scan of hand and wrist. Bad arthritis bone spurs floating around gap in wrist area. Saw an ortho pa. He said my wrist is complicated. Wouldn't even give me a cortisone shot. He said he wouldn't even know where too put it. Referred me too a hand surgeon. Don't see him for 2 weeks. I am in agony. Can't take this pain. I've iced it and worn a brace. No help. What do I do?
