Recently Had Left Shoulder Arthroscopy With Chondroplasty Of The Humeral

Recently had left shoulder arthroscopy with chondroplasty of the humeral head for grade 2 chondromalacia, debridement of frayed labrum, acromioplasty, distal claviculectomy and mini open rotator cuff repair...My question is... prior the these repairs it was suggested that I have total shoulder replacement so, will I need a new shoulder down the road and how long is the road. I am very active and my age is 61. Thanks.
