Right Before I Finished My Period My Libia Minora Became

Right before I finished my period my libia minora became Irritated, red & itchy, I finished my period 5 days ago & it is still the same, it is uncomfortable to wear underwear & to sit & sometimes when I walk. I have never experienced this before. There is no stinging when I urinate, there is no smell or irregular discharge, my vagina is totally fine otherwise. The only thing I had in the house to use was a diaper rash cream it soothes it a bit but it hasn't gone away, what could it be?
