Roof Of My Mouth Is Yellow And Sore. I Don't

Roof of my mouth is yellow and sore. I don't see blisters but rather very notable blood vessels blue and red. And a red lesion on my tonsil. I'm hoping I can allow whatever this is to run its course without antibiotics. No fever at this time. I still have tonsils and adenoids. Am I foolish to try and allow this to run its course?
