SITZ MARKER STUDY started 3/8/18
3/8/18:this imaging was performed same day as taking SITZ marker capsule (45 minutes after taking pill) FINDINGS A total of 23 radiopaque Sitz markers project over the abdomen. The majority are clustered in the rectosigmoid region.
3/10/18: FINDINGS This sitz markers are no longer present.
Getting an anorectal manometry to assess constipation/defecation issue and on Benefiber 3 times daily, Lactulose 10 grams 4 times daily, Colace 100 mg to twice daily.
Symptoms are worsening such as fatigue, naseau, headache, enlarged veins, groin pain, swollen lymphs,weight loss,rashes H/o colonic polyps(tubular adenoma) on colonoscopy 4/2013 but not polyps noted on colonoscopy 2/18
I am wondering what it could mean that the sitz marker study was 45 minutes transit time and 2 days cleared, because everyone at the hospital said its humanly impossible and that the first Dr. who said the results were normal, is wrong. Through my own research I also know that this is impossible. What could this be? What does this mean? Please any ideas is appreciated. This is merely one symptom I am experiencing and only 1 of the tests that has been acknowledged as wrong. Help please!!!
