Seven Days Ago I Had Silver Nitrate Applied To My

Seven days ago I had silver nitrate applied to my cervix after a smear test caused bleeding (was being examined due to bleeding during intercourse). I am still getting cramps and a constant light bleeding of fresh blood. Is this normal? I'm on the depo injection so don't get periods. The bleeding during sex literally only lasted for as long as the sex did, then it stopped of its own accord.
