Several Months Now I Have Had Sore Joints, Hips, Knees,

Several months now I have had sore joints, hips, knees, shoulders,elbows but not hands. Muscles are very weak and just picking up something quickly strains my elbows. During the last month the skin on my upper back is sensitive/sore/itchy but no visible issues (no rash, sores, etc.). I am 59 yr old menopausal female, but did have a surprise menses 6 weeks ago. Flow did not look menstrual, it was bright red, arterial blood w/o clots. Am I just getting old?
