Several Years Ago I Began Having A Tingling Numb Feeling

Several years ago I began having a tingling numb feeling in my fingers of my left hand and then it would travel up my left arm. It happened for a while, then seemed to have cleared up. I thought perhaps it was related to a pinched nerve or injury, yet I had not been injured at that time or had been in some time previous. A few days ago, the sensation returned. But I am now having the same sensation start on the left side of my lips and move across the left side of my fave as well.
