Severe acidity and resultant pain in the chest region. Urgent care has prescibed pantaprazole 40 mg and I am taking the same for the last 4 days. However I get severe pain every 3 hours and gulp down cold milk 1 oz periodically and that makes the pain less. Unable to sleep though I use slanting posture in the bed. Pain recurs every 3 hours and I feel my chest is congested. I am 78 years and diabetic, on metformin and insulin Levemir. Recently I was prescribed Symbicort 160/4.5 inhaler and began using the same 1 puff twice a day. Could you guide me?
