Should I Be Concerned For A Dark Coloured Discoloration From My Hips To Leg?

i have a purple to a dark discoloration that started on my stomach and now has spread to my hip and down my leg and now a new spot ontop of my foot. it has a pain like electricity and burning but not severe more annoying. this has been spreading slowly over the months. what is it and should i go to the ER?
