Should I Be Worried About A Dark Raised Mole On My Thigh?

i have a tiny mole( about the size of a ballpoint pen tip) on my thigh. I've been tanning recently to clear up my face, I already have tan skin as I am half african-american. Is this something I should be worried about? I might have had it for a while but I just noticed it today. I am a bit of a hypochondriac so hopefully its nothing. The mole is perfectly round and all black and slightly raised, please help
