Should I Be Worried About Swelling In Picc Line Site?

In February I had a pick line put in my right arm to receive medication daily. After a couple days swelling and bruising occurred. The line was finally removed but my arm is still somewhat swollen and it's been 4 months. My doctor said it could be lympedema but did no testing to rule out anything else. She sent me to Occupation Therapy but it's not really helping. Should I see a specialist as my doctor is a family practitioner?
