Should I Be Worried About Tenderness And Bruising At The Spot Of Depo Shot?

hi my name is veronica, i got my depo shot yesterday about 3, and later that evening it started feeling extremely tender, i couldnt even sleep on it, and this morning when i woke up i saw that it was bruised all in area where i got the shot. Is that ok and normal?
