Should I Be Worried About The Purple Spots On My Uvula And Persistent Mucus Feeling In My Throat After A Mild Cold?

Hi Last week I had a mild cold (sore throat, aches, etc) and while that has mostly cleared up I have been having an issue with mucous feeling like it s stuck between my nasal cavities and my soft palate. I have been trying to stay really hydrated and hoping it will clear up, but it has not. Today I tried to look at the back of my throat and I noticed it s red (no swelling on my tonsils though) and my Uvula has little purple dots on it. I have no pain, only trouble swallowing/clearing the mucous from my throat. Should I be worried about the purple spots?
