Should I Continue Galvus Met Now That My Blood Sugar Has Reduced?

Hi Doctor, I am a 32 years guy. I have diagnosed for diabetes a month ago, my diabetes was 307, started immediately Mixtard insulin; after a week my diabetes dropped to 142. After a week my doctor replaced my medication to Galvus Met 50/1000 and take the medicine for 3 weeks; now my diabetes dropped to 110. My Question is: 1. Did I continue talking the medication? 2. Is there a possibility on the reversal of diabetes and free from any diabetes medications?
