Should I Stop Using Xernia For Acanthosis Nigricans After Burning, Itching, And Dead Skin Appeared?

I have acanthosis Nigricans and dermatologist suggest me to use xernia after using it gor few days my neck got burned few areas and dead cell come out but I feel tremendous itching and burning sensation for few days. Should i stop using xernia. What else i can use there? Please suggest
