Should I Take Duphaston To Induce My Delayed Period Postpartum, Or Wait For It To Occur Naturally?

Hi, I delivered my first baby in the mid of October. I am not breastfeeding and got my first period on 14th December and second one on 13th of January. I am not pregnancy certainly and my period was due around 13th of February but I didn’t get it yet. I had regular monthly periods before pregnancy and no complications during the pregnancy. When I asked the obgyn, she prescribed me Duphaston which is to be taken twice a day for five days following which I might get the period. I have never used any medication to induce periods and still apprehensive about using it now. Please advise if I should use it or wait for it to occur naturally. Thanks a lot!
