Should I Take Pregnancy Test For Delayed Periods?

good day. i am 30. i had a normal period 25/2/2011. no period in march. bleeding on the 3/4/2011 to the 5/4/2011. no pregnancy test has been positive but since bleeding did not do any test. doc says no sex until 24/5/2011 and to wait for ultrasound results. should i take a pregnancy test while i wait
