Should I Wait For Periods To Restart Birth Control Pills?

Hi, I started birth control dec 14th, and i took it until dec 31ist because i lost it, i was 4 days away from starting to placebo ones to get my period. but i havent gotten my period and i was wondering if i should start the next set of pills now or wait until i get my period to start them again.
