Should I Wait Longer For My Period After Taking Suston SR?

Usually I have regular periods but this time....it s been 45 days and didn t get it...pregnancy tests shows negative results..so went with doctor...she prescribed susten sr 300 tablets for 5 days...I finished the course and 2 days passed....still didn t get periods...shall I wait for some more days or consult my doctor now... missing periods is a serious issue?
