Should Medroxyprogestin Be Continued Even After Starting Periods?

I was recently prescribed 10 pills of medroxyprogestin to initiate the onset of a menstrual flow. I will also be taking chlomid for the first time from days 3-7 of my cycle (I am trying to conceive). I have now taken 7 of the medroxyprogestin and had some light bleeding after intercourse, which continued throughout the next day. My period is always very light the first couple days, so I'm assuming it has begun. Should I finish the last three pills of the medroxyprogesting even though my period has started?
