Should Microgynon Be Taken After Cyst Removal From Ovaries?

had a hysterectomy ovaries left intact 3 months ago and 2 weeks ago had to have a 7cm in diameter ovarian cyst removed ovaries have again been saved.Dr has prescribed microgynon 50 to be taken everyday is this correct treatment ? I am feeling very depressed, irritable and moody just really rotten. what do you think?
