Should Norethisterone Be Continues When On Periods?

Hi I am 29, been diagnosed with PCOS, and taking norethisterone, I started 3 days back and having my period now, Should i continue taking the pill during period. I am not sure when and how long i should continue taking the pill. Recently i lost weight and following diet for Pcos. But then i missed my period again for 2 months.
