Should A Popped Boil That Oozed Green Substance Be Of Concern?

I had a risen or boil on my left back side just above my hips. It was hard and was painful to touch. I took a hot bath last night, and during the night that risen burst. It had a white and green substance that came from it, but it was not a liquid. It was like a firm matter. Should I be concerned?
