Should Application Of Silverex Be Continued Until The Burn Heal?

I burnt my leg (more specifically my right calf!) about two weeks ago. I applied Silverex from the beginning but it seemed to start healing only after I started putting a gauze and a bandage on it! I am in India and the three doctors I have seen have dressed it in a different way from each other.....it is now healing seemingly well and I was told by the doctors to just leave it open!! My question is: "do I keep on applying Silverex till it is completely healed or not? If yes, do I have to put a bandage around it or is this going to slow the healing process down? What is the best thing to do in order to avoid scarring?" Please, advise me as to what to do.
