Should Bed Rest Be Taken While On Treatment For Joint Tuberculosis?

Sir I m having s.i joint turboclusis I am female teacher docter told me 3weeks bed rest and he gave me medicine offsri and one kit of 4tablets I am taking medicine properly from last 6weeks but can't take the bed rest attending job but without more movement I am improving but worried dut to lack of bed rest is it serious
