Should Condoms Be Used Despite Taking Microgynon Pills?

i've just taken a three day course of trimethoprim anitbiotics while continuing to take microgynon(the pill). Do i need to continue taking extra precautions(ie. uding condoms) until my next period or now i've stopped my antibiotics does the pill act as a contraceptive again?
