Should I Get Ears Re-pierced Or Keep Trying To Get It In?

i took my earrings out to change it, but couldt put them back in. so i left it. it's been two days, and i just tried putting it back in but it feels totally covered. should i get them repierced or keep trying to get it in? suggestions please, thanks :)
