Should The Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy Tube Be Twisted Everyday?

I had peg tube in ...in July we cleaned it verry well...but to my suprise after Doctor app yesterday i find out I am to twist it every day...never new that...and because of it must return to surgery to make sure not stuck to my back wall...the Dr couldnt twist it so ...verry nervous
