Should The Circumcision Stitches On The Penis Be Removed?

I was circumcized about 3 weeks and 3 days ago. The stitches are dissolvable and they have come out yet. The would is heal but what's bothering me is that on the top right about .25 to .50 the two skin has not completely join together, i'm not bleeding. Should i be worrying? Can start taking out the stitches? My doc told me the stitches would fall out or dissolve in 1 month time. Should i have to go have that part stitch again?
