Should The Progesterone Tablets Be Continued During Menstruation?

Hi,im 27+have irregular periods so im prescribed to take 10 mg medroxy progestrone for 10days,two pills per day, from 15th day of my cycle.I began taking for 7days but yesterday i forgot 2 take.and today i have my period.should i stop taking this pill?can i start taking remaining pills after my period?
