Should The White Pills Be Skipped And Start Of With Active Pills To Skip Periods?

I'm taking Ocella birth control. I'm supposed to have my period right around graduation, according to the 'white reminder pills', but this is really inconvenient. Can I just skip the white pills and go straight to the next pack of active pills without waiting 7 days so I don't have a period this month?
