Since Childhood, I Have Occasionally Experienced An Issue (usually Exercise-induced)

Since childhood, I have occasionally experienced an issue (usually exercise-induced) with pain upon inhalation--like a stab between the ribs just under my breast--but it usually doesn't last long. I was told that it was not an indication of anything serious, but I'm going on day 2 with this condition and wonder when I should be concerned about this? Sara
