Sitting Down Or Lying Down, I Can Feel My Heart

Sitting down or lying down, I can feel my heart beat and there is some pain. This occurs only in the center of my chest. Also, went into the emergency room, by that time I stopped having pain and the fluttering; they found nothing. Thank you for your help
