Sjogren's Disease Is Documented As An Autoimmune Disease Affecting The

Sjogren's disease is documented as an autoimmune disease affecting the salivary glands and eye mucosa but as these drying symptoms occur are these signs of systemic dehydration which may also endanger other tissues such as kidneys (leading to dialysis?), brain (leading to dementia?), etc. ? I am an RN who has seen individuals hospitalized with history of Sjogren's and wonder what the progression is and how this affects other organs, plus best practices to prevent progression.
