Smashed My Finger In The Hood Of A Car! Took

Smashed my finger in the hood of a car! Took about five minutes to get it released. It was just about half the nail and it is brushed I was wondering if I should put q whole in it to release the pressure? It is swollen and the skin on my finger tip is red as well. Not sure what that is I guess bruising or blood I don't know but it doesn't wash away lol it's in the skin
