So I Am Currently Single And Just Met This New

So I am currently single and just met this new guy. We had unprotected sex 3 days ago and it was quite rough and dry. Needless to say I was pretty sore the next morning. Urinating, sitting and walking were all uncomfortable. Since then I decided to look down there with a mirror because it felt like I had a cut in the left inner labia. What I found was a white canker looking lesion! I'm freaking out because I just had my STI/pap last week and now this. Is this herpes or a startling result of rough sex???
