So I Am On The Nuvaring And Recently My Boyfriend

So I am on the Nuvaring and recently my boyfriend and I have been having sex while the ring is still inside of me. He is uncircumcised. He’s been getting tiny cuts on his foreskin that are painful for him. Could this be from my nuvaring? What can we do to make him heal and not have the cuts occur anymore?
