So I Looked At My Breast Today And My Areloa

So I looked at my breast today and my areloa is swollen but it doesn't hurt or anything, and it turned a lighter colour then my normal areola colour. I've tried to look on the Internet about what it was but none of the places I read were helping. I'm just wondering if I could get to know what this is.
