So I Was With My Boyfriend All Days For Forgot

So I was with my boyfriend all days for forgot a pad and wasn't able to change all day so put on a pad when I got up (early) and half way through the day a little area in my vagina started to get sore and still is I changed my pad but it's a lot of discomfort is it possible I have and infection ?
