So I'm A Singer And My Vocal Cords Mean Everything

So I'm a singer and my vocal cords mean everything to me, and i have a lot of amazing vocal coaches so i know i have pretty good technique. but recently I constantly feel the need to clear my throat and it kust always seems like there is something i need to clear. This was happening for about a month and a half but it wasn't very bad, but now my voice is feeling really hoarse, so i'm going to see a doctor but I don/t know wether to be more concerned about the possibility of vocal nodules or just a vocal mucus condition.
