So A Few Years Ago My Jaw Was Out Of

So a few years ago my jaw was out of place and I ended up having a retainer for a year. It worked and it was now straight again. Now 7 years have passed and it's back, I was wondering if I would have to have a retainer again or if there was another option like surgery (???) thank you for reading
