So A While Back I Was Hiking And A Prickly

So a while back I was hiking and a prickly little bush punctured my leg. I guess I kept picking at it, I thought it was just a scab that never healed, now it is about the size of a button. I have been keeping it under duct tape incase it happens to be some form of wart. After a few days red dots came to the surface and worried me but eventually washed out. at this point it has gone down but seems to have plateaued. I guess it's about the size of a small button and is firm. and to be honest I only think it was that spiky plant but it could have formed on its own. I have photos if there is a way to upload
