So, For The Past 7 Months Or So I Have

So, for the past 7 months or so I have had a scar, kind of like a small hole on the side of my face. Approximately 1 to 2 centimeters in diameter. If I shower... it washes a would be scab away starting the healing process over... if I wait a day or 2 to shower it starts to scab up but never really heals. any ideas?
