So For The Past Year Or Two I've Had Major

So for the past year or two I've had major problems with my tonsils. They usually swell up and get very sore at least once a month. I usually always go to MedExpress and they always tell me the same thing. My strep test is negative, and they just give me an antibiotic. This last time my tonsils are very swollen, but they aren't sore. Also this antibiotic they gave me isn't helping. What should I do?
