So I've Been On Microgestin For 2 Months Now, I

So i've been on microgestin for 2 months now, I was on a different type for a year before but recently changed. I never had this issue with my old pill, (Necon 1/35) anyways, last month I got my period on the 3rd day of the inactive pill like usual, but it only lasted 3 or 4 days, when usually it would last 5 or 6. This time, only some brown discharge is coming out, not very heavy, but enough to notice. This has never happened to me before so I'm worried. My doctor said sometimes this pill can make your period very light, or skip all together. Is this whats happening here? Im only concerned because this didn't happen last month. I am sexually active, but my boyfriend ALWAYS pulls out, and I am very good with my pills, never missing any. Any advice? Im worried.
