So My Belly Button Has These Brown Flaky Bits Inside

So my belly button has these brown flaky bits inside and I tried to clean it out with a q-tip and have tried for a few days but its really hard to get out. Its gone red around my bellybutton now and their is still quite a bit of flakiness in the inside of my belly button, is it bad I have tried to clean it and what do I do
